INNOCENCE OF A CHILD

Once there was a man,
Standing in the middle of the road...
Ask him why - he'll say ''Coz i can''...
No one ponders over his Stand...

He sees a begger spreading his palms...
Asking from every passing car his demands...
Like- food, water or something to becalm....
Still, no one ponders over his stand...

A office man seated in a car,
With time not at par,
Stops to wait for the green light,
In front of the beggars might.

The beggar walks to his side,
Knocks on his window without any pride.
The man rolls his window down,
Not to give, but to frown.

Then there came passerby- a child,
Not a care in the city, yet filled with purity....
heart filled with stories of kindness
Stood to ponder over his stand.

He went up to the beggar,
Drench in alcohol he smelled,
The child gave him money
The man standing said - innocence of a child.

HAPPY TEACHERS DAY

This poem is dedicated to a teacher of mine.

On a bright sunny day,
At our books we gazed.
By Coleridge's Frost's
We were entirely hazed.
For Ma'am we had praise
As she solved the maze!
And Ma'am inspired us,
For the rest of our days!

TEMPLE - WEEDJA

In a old temple I sat to plead;
Remorse for disgraceful deed.
No one to share and talk to but he,
In a corner, as usual he sat groggy.
The grass's effect just hit me.
Delusional in front of me I could see.
A man with 7 umbrellas over his head
With a smouldering leaf in his hand
Smouldered the joyous sage full weed.
He came and sat just beside me,
Extended his hand and gave me,
The censer. White fog around,
From it came and surround us...!

FYI- I don't do drugs!

AGITATION

Agitation in his heart lingered,
After meeting you for the first time,
He tried to write like a singer,
Vainly he could not even rhyme.

SNAKE BITE

A man by a huge snake bitten,
For a endless month bedridden.
In the end his soul left its origin,
Like a snake shedding its skin!

HIDDEN LOVE

Knowledge not his companion,
Nature his abandoned school.
According to people's opinion,
Brought up to become a fool.

One Day he sought to fight,
Gathered all his might.
A slender pen he took,
While writing his hands shook.

A letter to a loved one; written,
With her thoughts, his heart smitten.
The letter served on a silver platter,
To her it was not a big matter.

The letters fate in fire fell,
All the love filled words to hell.
Her hearts true state, to her, Unknown,
Troubled by actions of her own.

The toxic ink into the air vanished,
Every breath, choked her to death.
For fresh air she gasped, breathless,
Breaking her lovers handmade necklace.

REBIRTH

There came a gentle breeze,
It shook the toughest trees.
Experienced fatality for the first time,
The tree grew a lot more prime.
Its crimson flowers and golden fruits,
Rotten; Did bear the truth.

Still loved by its saplings, dear,
Hanging around, under and near.
Animals and birds do come,
Sharing grief and solemn pity.
The lessons looked like some,
Yet it's knowledge for eternity.

Once the prime tree blushed greener,
The boughs entangled between one another,
Over the shrubs as shelter.
Now shredding leaves changing colour.
Falling on shrubs ornamented by crimson flower.
Welcoming a deer, after a scarred calf she delivered.

This time, stripped it was naked,
Never again leaves it grew.
Surrounded by youthful trees,
With crimson flowers and golden fruits on few,
Giving shelter to the animals and birds,
And a pregnant deer scarred,
Waiting for her child to be delivered!

ENGRAVED MOON

Down went the peered sun,
Followed by a moonlit dusk.
I Still sitting on the desk,
Thinking of all the fun,
We had in short time; so soon.
Laughing under sun we basked.
But you wore smiling mask.
I still gazed at the moon.

A spread of darkness,
Painted across the room,
Apart of the grated light,
Striking from the moon.
On the moon your ebony,
Dark shadows cast.
Hovering over the city,
Across the ocean vast.

I close my eyes to see;
A image of u smiling,
Under the sun- Beguiles,
Me into ghast ecstasy.
Atlast came the warden,
Told me a visitor I had
Calling me in need.
It was you indeed.

INFATUATED INTIMATION

About you he thought,
For you he fought.
His life fell crumbling down,
When you forgot even to frown.

A friend he thought of you,
His biggest mistake.
All hardship he undertakes,
And still just asks for a "Thank you."

You think you just ignore;
But, unknown, tears of gore,
He bleeds. One Day you saw,
His tears, your stone heart thaw.

Mesmerised,  you walked upto him,
He thought it were a whim.
He Prepared to face your wrath,
Took his guard, without a thought.

By your actions, were astonished,
Everyone who did surround.
They expected another round,
Of treacherous traumatic torture.

But you wiped his tears, and;
Amorously looked at him .
Hugged him dear,  never to let,
Another trickling tear appear.

SOUNDER THOUGHTS

An Ambling - thought in my mind,
The hot summer gust intervened.
Robbed the calm Psyche blind,
A sounder thought like a fiend.

Troubled by a woman's chime,
For what seemed internal time.
Seeking knowledge at day's prime,
A sonorous thought did unwind.

To relentless time, everyone is bind;
Facing troubles of the same kind.
A drop down a funnel incurred,
An amorous thought purely refined.

Within his arms, calmly did she lay,
Smiling like the hot summer day,
The smile's heat made my heart throb,
With a kiss, her heart, forever he robbed!

ATTITUDE

A small change in your style,
Will take u a long mile.
Along a very long road,
Until you success, hoard!

LONELY DESERT

My ship was sinking, all i could say was-"Ayee!"
Loving, I took to challenge sailing;
But ended up severely failing,
'Coz a novice sailor I.
In a solemn dream the ship said to me,"Ready for ye not yet I".
Nobody could understand my feeling,
While ship sank into sea; on the life boat I fell down kneeling,
Scared, I closed my eye.

My only wish is another chance, however tough;
Scarred with bruises and patched with repairs now;
It is mine and shall be whatsoever;
Broken, damaged, the nautical ready to flow.
With hope I raise my brow;
Hope to ride on it forever....
