ENGRAVED MOON

Down went the peered sun,
Followed by a moonlit dusk.
I Still sitting on the desk,
Thinking of all the fun,
We had in short time; so soon.
Laughing under sun we basked.
But you wore smiling mask.
I still gazed at the moon.

A spread of darkness,
Painted across the room,
Apart of the grated light,
Striking from the moon.
On the moon your ebony,
Dark shadows cast.
Hovering over the city,
Across the ocean vast.

I close my eyes to see;
A image of u smiling,
Under the sun- Beguiles,
Me into ghast ecstasy.
Atlast came the warden,
Told me a visitor I had
Calling me in need.
It was you indeed.
